I am responsible for our sales team, for our sales activities and for overseeing everything around them.  The best part of my job is that I can work directly with companies to find a solution to reduce paper waste. Hi there, my name is Ward.

Mainly active as marketeer & strategist at Bambook. It’s my job to make sure all marketing efforts are aligned with each other. I really like to contribute to the recovery of forests and ecosystems through my job. I find it a cool challenge to show people why we need to make some changes in our daily behaviour, so that we still can take care of ourselves, but more importantly; our planet. To see people join Bambooks movement and switch to paperless writing is awesome. Every little step helps to become a big movement together!

Many people call me Bart instead of Ward. I have since found peace in the fact that this is a curse that will haunt me all my life.

Within Bambook I am responsible for sales within the UK & Nordics. I deal with retail, resale and general business-related issues. Ich lebe in Berlin. 2017 habe ich den Gründern von Bambook bei ihrer Internationalisierungsstrategie geholfen. Da war und ist ein nettes Klicken und ich unterstütze die Mission von Bambook. Daraus entwickelte sich eine Partnerschaft zwischen Bambook einerseits und Susanne und mir andererseits. Wir unterstützen Bambook aktiv dabei, den deutschen, österreichischen und schweizerischen Markt zu erobern, um noch mehr Papier zu sparen!

As a big nature lover, I fully support our mission to fight paper waste and restore forests and ecosystems. Together we can make a big impact! Moreover, Bambooks also writes wonderfully, so what's not to love?

Fun fact: secretly I dream of becoming a safari guide in an African wildlife park, spending all day long looking for elephants (what majestic creatures aren't they) and enjoying all the beauty of nature. So that’s even more motivation to take care of our planet and help restore the habitat of our amazing wildlife.
